1What it does
Claude Desktop connects straight to a HighLevel sub-account with a scoped Private Integration token. From one sentence it pulls contacts, tags them, moves pipeline stages and surfaces incomplete leads.

3How it works
Every step, in order, is in Workflow at a glance, pinned on the right as you scroll.
Setup (one time)
- 01 Setup
Create a Private Integration token with only the scopes you need, and copy the Location ID.
- 02 Setup
Claude Desktop > Settings > Developer > Edit Config, add the ghl-mcp server using mcp-remote.
- 03 Setup
Fully quit and reopen Claude.
Runtime
- 01 Trigger

- 02 Action
Ask in plain English: read the account, create a contact, tag it, list incomplete leads.
- Trigger
- A request typed into Claude Desktop.
- AI step
- Plain-language requests to Claude, for example 'Find contacts created this week with no phone number and tag them needs-info.'
4How it went
Live demo in the video: Claude read the account, created a contact, tagged it and surfaced incomplete leads. Aaron says he runs this setup in production.
Only what the source reports. The source did not report numbers.
5Worth knowing
- The token can add and delete users. Scope it down and treat it like a password.
- The config from the official docs did not work for Aaron. The working config is in the video description.
- HighLevel's built-in MCP does not cover every action yet.
